Procrastinators, take note. Final-round Grammy voting closes on Thursday (Jan. 4), one week from today. Final-round voting opened two weeks ago, on Dec. 14.

Voting members of the Recording Academy may now vote on the My Academy Hub mobile app, which members can download in the Apple App Store or Google Play store. Members can set up biometric logic so they won’t have to remember a password.

The mobile app option is designed to benefit musicians who may be on tour and away from their desktops. The Academy is trying to modernize its operations and make voting more convenient. In an email to members, the Academy said “On the move? Start voting conveniently from the comfort of your home using your desktop, and seamlessly continue right where you left off on your mobile app, no matter where you are. Your progress is automatically saved, ensuring a worry-free experience, even when you’re pressed for time on the road!”

Members in almost all locations, both domestic and international, can download and use the mobile app. The Academy notes that the app is not currently available to members in China.

The Grammy voting process otherwise remains unchanged. Voting members with questions or needing technical support regarding the app can contact

Trevor Noah will host the 66th annual Grammy Awards which are set for Feb. 4 at Arena in Los Angeles. This is his fourth consecutive year as host. Noah is nominated for best comedy performance for I Wish You Would. He’s the first Grammy host to be Grammy-nominated that same year since Queen Latifah in 2005.

SZA is this year’s top nominee, with nine nods, followed by Phoebe Bridgers, Victoria Monét and engineer/mixer Serban Ghenea, with seven nods each.
